I would consider a different font for your subtext, I think this will be difficult to read at a small size.

oh lord. That font.

It is so extended and stretched, that it looks like its trying to be modern without actually being modern.

And Please, please do not use a gradient. This is not 2005. If you are going to be a web designer, you need to be as modern as possible.
A simple black box or line would do, and definitely a new font choice.
