Brief from client
Hi there!
My name is Mariëlle. I study Media design and I am in the second year. This is my logo, for my own company.
My logo stands for myself. The heart is symbol for a warm atmosphere and stands for the love of design.
The colours are a collection from me. It shows who I am.
The name means literally make a design. That sentence I've also processed in the heart. I can make from nothing to something.
I am curious to your opinion.

The text and the symbol don't go very well together at all. The fonts are quite plain, in contrast to the complex geometric pattern for the heart. By the way, I would probably ditch the hyphen in "Make it," but that's a branding choice.
As for the heart, it seems rather out of place. I wouldn't immediately think "graphic design," but perhaps jewelry or something. It could use simplification in any case. Way too many triangles.
Keep at it!
In the heart, I would like to see it with no white strokes ~or~ maybe even go with less triangles and larger white strokes. However, the symbol and your font choice don't really compliment each other well. I think you have a good start, just keep working on it!
A rule of thumb when designing logos. You need to ALWAYS make sure it works in both black and white, and color. This obviously would look very complicated as a black and white logo. Also remember your core lesson: KISS. Keep It Simple Stupid. Its fine if you want to do a heart, but simplify your design, and push the idea further. What does a heart have to do with "making it"? Ask yourself that question, and keep designing.
there's too much going on inside the heart you should would simplify it. you should also find a different font. and last thing your subtext isn't alight with your main text
