Mark Brown is a writer of stage plays.
This identity needs to be a simple icon incorporating his name and tell the audience that he is a writer without saying 'Writer'

I like where this is going, I'm just not sure it's there yet.
-The color. I like the color, it's a-okay.
-The pen. I like the pen, but for some reason it looks kind of fat and really shiny. I ALMOST couldn't tell for sure that it was a pen because it was so short- but if you make it much taller, your logo will be really really tall, which is never good. Is there any way you can make this a more horizontal layout!?
-I like the arrows setting up a little area for his name, but it's almost a little confusing (to me, I mean) - could you possibly make the endpoints another shape rather than arrows!?
Either way though- I think this is pretty good- my main concern would be how tall it is and how the pen looks!
