Market Kitchen

Brief from client

To create a logo and branding for a store that sells healthy food called Market Kitchen.

It is based in an old market (same market as the job i did for Market Streets - if you remember)

Moroccan colours - oranges, reds, bright

needs to give the impression of feel good health eating.

Heres a different take - please let me know your thoughts and which version you prefer.

I prefer version 2 a lot more.

I like the first circle, with the leafs inside.

Looking at it small, I would remove the copy.

Personally, I prefer where version 2 was going over this one. Something about the letters is throwing me. The M looks odd- weak compared to the rest. Maybe if the leaf came off the top of the M? Either way, some letters seem to lean and some seem straight up and down? Maybe its an illusion or just my eyeballs- but it is distracting to me. I believe your #2 was much more attractive.

I think you need to make the slogan bolder. It's too thin compared to the main text. Maybe also make the circle line the same thickness as "market kitchen" is.
And how would it look if you'd put it all straight? It feels a bit like a stamp. :)

Thanks for the comments! I went through all the suggestions and try a few different things but none of them seemed to work for me. Both Version 2 and Version 3 have gone off to the client. I put a proposal together for both of them. Fingers crossed they like what i have done! :)
