I'd say this is too wide of a logo- but the colors are still nice! But yeah, I'd stick with your other ideas that you have cooking!

This is a little less wide- but the symbol and the text are so oddly placed and sized. I feel like the symbol should be the same width as the main block of text - the way you have it arranged right now looks peculiar to me. The symbol is off center, kind of just floating up above the text.

Also- I think the main text (MC General) is too thin. That font looks great as subtext- but maybe thicken it up (or is there a Bold version?) for the top line of text!? But yeah, I would like to see this again once the symbol is the same width as the text and centered nicely above it!
