Ministry of Communications and Information Technology ( EGYPT )

Brief from client

need opinions .

Hello there ,
first of all i'm a college student Majoring in Graphic Design and Advertising , so there was this assignment to make a governmental logo for a Ministry or a Department in the country i live in , i get to choose which ministry so i choose Ministry of Communications and Information Technology , so i made this logo , the text is in Arabic so you probably won't be able to read it , any way the idea here is that i wanted to make it as native as possible , the country i live in is Egypt , so i made a Pyramid shape in the middle , and stroked it with Red and Black ( colors from the Egyptian flag ) , the thing is my prof. told us that governmental logos are different from corporate identities and need certain restrictions , so i kinda need help from you to decide whether this logo looks good or not , and of course opinions to improve it would be much appreciated , thanks in advance . (PS, i made this with Photoshop as i haven't finished my Illustrator course yet, so put that in mind )

This is not a finished logo yet.
Nothing represents communications nor technology in here, the symbol you put does not look like a pyramid. I don't think you need to use a pyramid anyway, using the national colours can be enough.

You have chosen a default system Arabic font, maybe you should have spent sometime looking for a better one.

keep trying, sketching you will get better ideas.
