Brief from client
• Napa Brewing Company is a craft brewery. We make very high quality beers.
• The beer industry is fun so we don’t want to be too serious. However, we want to portray the image of high quality.
• Napa Brewing Company is a reliable product and has a real sense of place.
The client asked how they could differentiate between their flavors. I created this to show that you could have a different feel by changing the palette.
I also pulled Cali in a bit and gave the lines the same weight.

I think you're off to a good start but I feel like this logo is still in the draft phase. I appreciate you bringing the state into the logo for relevance, but It lacks depth and it doesn't "say" fun. It looks very "clean cut" corporate. Besides the name saying so, the logo doesn't look as if it belongs to a brewery. Try changing up the color palette on the summer. The other two color palettes are acceptable but your summer palette doesn't reflect the season. It may seem as if I am being mean but I assure you I am only trying to help. I think you were on the right track with version 2, Good Luck.
the inside of the circle could be the inside of a beer glass and maybe you can have some beer head over flowing on the border. Just a random thought that came to mind, I do like what you got though.

You could also put a sunburst behind the California part. I love where its going.

Careful there. One thing is to be fun and another thing is to be a joke. I don't think more funniness is necessary in your logo.
What does your client say about this version of the logo?
