Neo Star

Brief from client
5 organisations make a Allince. All oganisations working in human resource and leadership sector.
It's an interesting symbol, altough it's not a new one. I feel a bit of a mistake in the left bottom corner, there's too much shading on it. The typography is rather boring and unprofessional. You need to play with it a little to put it to ballance. It's like standing apart from the symbol, they are somehow separated, don't work together.
You're going to need to convert the star to a vector format.... The highlights, shadows, etc will only cause you problems in printing and when you enlarge it.
Overall I find it on the boring side, including the font
I don't dislike the font you are using if the words were closer, the change in boldness already provides a demarcation and probably would make alliance letters more spaced to be justified with NeoStar. For the star, I like that it's not straight, it helps the crossover effect altough the colors are so dark that you kind of loose the crossover effect, I would lighten the blue for the star.
