Brief from client
Network is a series of indoor underground techno parties.
The goal was to make something simple and recognizable and to capture the underground minimalist feel of Berlinesque techno parties.
I kinda like simplicity of this logo- I wonder if you could match both stems of the N - give both top and bottom that angle you have, and where the square meets on the right.
I think you will still need a word mark as well for some applications. I'm not a huge fan of the other version you uploaded, but if you did something simple that related back to this (using the angled N to tie them together) I think that could be a win, win.
I really like this for what you have described. It has a totally minimal vibe and the negative space could be reminiscent of the empty warehouse before the party starts. Being a huge fan of industrial hardcore techno and having seen many an overdone logo it definitely works for the scene.
I like how the N connects to the edges of the square, yet I have to complain that the left cut on the bottom of the N does not match the size of the square thickness. Should be simple enough to fix.

Makes me think of a room plan drawing, with the N being a door swing icon. Maybe the N could form some steps leading underground?

Really cool!
I like it.
