Offroad/Gaming hybrid logo. Not strictly offroad & not strictly gaming
Logo is for myself. It is a community of games & offroad enthusiasts.
for the typography the font is ok but the spaces between the lettering doesn't work well with the eye. the tagline also doesn't work with the font above. they clash too much. this is nearly finished though.
Thanks. What part are you talking about on the spacing? In between the letters of OFFROAD or GAMER or the space between the two? Thats the natural kerning of the the typography. Should I tighten up the kerning or losen it?
Ok I think I understand what you are talking about. Like the F's. I wanted to go with a somewhat modern look yet still keep the offroad feel. I got the idea to use the font from looking at the typography used on badges for trucks. The font I chose was very similar to that used on Nissan Frontier

the gaps in each of the letters that make the font look like the "coalition font" or stencils. the actual kerning is fine.

I think you should rethink this whole concept. It's not getting significantly better.
