One Worship Logo

Brief from client
This is for a church that currently has a traditional service and is going to add a contemporary service at the same time. The preacher will be simulcasted in the contemporary service so the sermon will be the same in both places, but the music will be different. They wanted the phrase "One Worship, Two Styles"

Because I already know what they're going to tell you... you should probably make some sort of abstract cross with those two circles. I think its rad the way it is but you know... jesus n stuff.
LMFAO i agree with ishimaru
"You Know.. Jesus n Stuff"
Tooooooo Funny!
The symbol is kinda plain, but I've had to do church logos before and they do seem to prefer simple (ie- sorta drab) stuff, so I understand why you went in that direction.
The colors are great, I really like the purple and green that you picked out- and same with the fonts! Good font choice, well arranged, well kerned - the whole sha-bang!
I'd consider making the two circles not transparent but that's mainly because I don't love the pastel look that it gives.
But all in all and for what it is, I think it's pretty darn good.
My only issues are with the actual and perceived centering. I realize that the text within itself is centered but it doesn't appear that way due to the "P" in worship. The other issue is with the text placement within the sphere/oval. I think I would trying to center the text within the sphere, make the "O" in one a perfect sphere (or matching the outer sphere). Also I might adjust the kerning a little to make two words out of "TWO STYLES".
Nice!
I agree with 2423, try and make the word "two" as big as "one" it helps with the main idea, it gives contrast. On the other hand, I really like the off-centered text, you could make it a little smaller, and push it in the thin zone of the ovals, thus giving contrast with the thicker zone. Also loose the transparency, make the ovals the same color as the text.
I like this one. I would however shift the text a bit up and to the right - just a tiny little bit. And then make sure about the colors. Some churches do have some special color for a special period in the church year - so, I would just make sure that this doesn't clash.... but you will actually find out soon enough. - maybe ask Alpreacher for critique.... I think he's a church guy???
I think I'm the only one that likes the text not centered, but for whatever reason- I dig it off center!! Then again, I also had a handful of spicy Corn Nuts at 9am this morning...
I'm not a fan of the rings, but since I can't think of anything to do about it I'll keep quiet.
