Brief from client
it's for a marketing company.
Just wanting advice on this logo mark. Mainly I can't decide which color set I like, but other advice welcome.
I feel like I've seen a logo like this before. I just can't place my finger on it.
For the color sets, I'd go with the left version, unless you can make the right version appear less dull. Maybe go with a brighter greenish-blue for the stem of the P.
thanks for the feedback. I know there are similar logos out there, but I'm ok with that. Not everything can be absolutely original looking in this world of 7 nbillion people. anyways, how does this look?
You can break some rules with logo design :) Plus, paper can be a different color on the opposite side, so you could think of it like that if it helps. And as the shape moves back in space, it would look a bit darker.

Nah, I was more thinking of this. It's fine though, I think it's different enough not to confuse the two.
wow, I didn't even think of google drive, which is weird cause I use it almost daily. haha.
I also like that mine achieves a similar effect without the use of gradients :)
Probably subliminal inspiration :)

I prefer this color scheme over the all blue- adds much more interest.
thanks. my only issue is the blue might look more coherent, like it's a continuous "strip" of paper.
but if you guys aren't sensing an issue with the multi color, I guess it works.

I think it's fine.
