This looks good. Can you try with a thin linear character for the Brendan, graphic artist and illustrator text? An yeap they haven't the same size, save the graphic artist size
i think you've used to many fonts and that the font in the banners should be the same size even if that means reducing the size of one of the banners. i dont like the lines on the sides with the circles at either end.. i dont think they should be there and i dont think that having the whole thing in that black circle is doing you any favours.. i would reverse the colours.. black text and details in black and plain a white background. i would like to hope that the style of this logo represents you and how you design rather than just looking cool. i also dont see any great idea behind this logo.. infact i dont really see any idea just some nice banners and fonts put together. how about designing a really cool symbol out of B and L like you started trying in your earlier versions putting that in the middle your name in one of the banners and graphic artist in the other banner?? im not trying to be harsh im just trying to get you to create a better logo and think out the box a litle :0 i hope you appreiciate this
I totally get what you're trying to do but for now, it feels like you're desperately trying to follow a recipe for a cool vintage looking logo but for some reason, it just doesn't work.
I know the feeling, it happens to me all the time. We're not all naturals like Joe Fuckin' White =)
I think the font choice isn't really good, they look very plain, and the ribbons needs more work.
Globally, I find it to lack personality.
The intention behind this logo are good, but you're not quiet there yet.

Looking good! I like the typeography.
Is the text in the top banner and low banner the same size?
