Personal Logo

Brief from client
I want to make personal project, a new logo for my own brand.
I want to represent on a simplied logotype my name wich is Martin Moncayo. there are 2 M´s make something minimalistic and fresh
I'm not a logo designer yet, but i think id could help if you took off all the duo tones of the orange and aqua, just leave them solid. It's my humble opinion.
Good luck.
Something about that middle "M" bugs me. It's just floating there. Have you tried extending the bottom of it to meet the bottom of the larger "M"? Also, if you were to convert this to a one color would you still be able to get that "multifaceted" impression? It's a start but I think this can be developed more. It's your brand so you want it to be solid in every presentation you'll encounter.
but thats the idea, to play with different tones of colors to give depth and represent the multifaceted, if i change to solid colors there will not be the representation of what i´m looking for
The problem there is that at some point your logo will need to be represented in 1 color so it should be able to function in it's most basic form. That's one of the tougher obstacles to overcome, in my opinion.
