Philadelphia Flyers/Personal ID logo

Brief from client
Client wants a simple mark made out of two letters with a dynamic movement. By working on a logo consisting of two letters ; " P " and " F " it came out as my personal ID logo, too.

The idea is okay but the execution is lacking and it just looks a little awkward the way the letters meet and the way the wings sort of match but aren't completely the same.
I really like this, but why does it look so pixelized? What software did you use for this? It also needs a lot of fine tuning, but I really dig where this is going.
Shawali, I'm a self thought artist and the only program that I know is a paint
option on my window 7 - that is why non of my work looks professional enough.
I would like to learn a simple program with vectors to achieve a good quality
finish of my past , current and future projects. At times I have some cool
ideas, but a program handcuffed me totally. Can you help in any way for me
to start making progress and learn some basic program to go to a next level,
please? I would appreciate that. Than you for your comments - it only helps.
I really like your logo but you definitely need to get away from using paint!! i suggest you buy adobe creative suit, or Just adobe illustrator to create any logos you do. Its probably the best software out there you can use to create a logo with.
I don't want to advocate piracy, but you can easily get the whole Adobe Creative Suite for free.
However you get it, you absolutely need Adobe Illustrator. There's no way around it. But I must say I'm amazed that you created what's a pretty good logo using Paint! Great job.
If it is very difficult to create a logo with a program other than Illustrator or other design software.
No way you did but good job.
