I wish I could help you improve, but this looks like a pretty slick logo as it is! I like that it is a unique approach to the camera (which can be a bit overdone at times). I prefer flat color over gradients, but this looks nice color wise. And the type is clean.
Maybe someone will have better advise for you- all I have is a compliment! Nice job! =)

Thanks for the kind words, actually it is the second version and yet still rejected. Stock logos is really hard to pleased.
I don't know what to do next, I guess I will follow all suggestion that is make sense

the curves on the bottom of the camera body seem off, but other than that, pretty solid.

I think that if you would replace an edge of the camera with a film ribbon and keep a single lens - that would be even better. You might even make the whole symbol out of a film ribbon - just a thought...
