I liked the idea, but this red is too strong. And could put the initial letters capitalized and the rest lower case
I see what you tried to do here, but this is not working. The P flexing its biceps just looks like an E.
I don't mind the font, it's ok.
Look at some Graffitys, they are the best to check connection of letters
I see how the bicep looks like the bottom of a capital G. Having said that, maybe try to separate out the letters PG, keeping the G as a bicep instead of combining them into one symbol. Also I would lose the drop shadow & yellow triangle behind the image. They make it look very dated, out of 1984.
Lastly, yellow and red remind me of McDonald's... try kuler.adobe.com for complimentary colors.

I could point out why this logo is wrong on so many levels, but it has a charm to it that I can't quite put my finger on.
It's like outsider art but for designers.
Would have made a great t-shirt in the 80's!
