Brief from client
Working towards a new logo for my upcoming Podcasting/Audiobook reading.
I know it says not to have multiple variations, but only doing two just to show how it could look like just a black logo.
Alright, I am working towards crafting myself a new logo with the theme of podcasting and audiobook reading (these being fairytales, novels, etc) and the idea I had buzzing around was a mic with a crescent moon.
Tried out a few combinations, and narrowed it down to this sort of design. I'd welcome any advice or suggestions. And yes I do have colors in mind, but I'd like to narrow down a final look of sorts. The next upload may have colors.

Personally I prefer this one over the one with a wave.
I think a microphone stands out here and these two items are distinguishable yet legible when merged together
I like the idea of the symbol but combining them in this kind of way makes it a disproportional to me, base on my Understanding, Mic is something you'll use if you have to something to announce. For me, the Energy of this Mark is a little bit sideways, it needs balance and has to be more pronounced what do you think?
