As a starting point, the letters are too close together. The chip covers the important parts of the P.

I like the 'playing card' color theme..
I do agree, though, your letters are way too close - try separating them until there's at least a little gray-space visible between the K and E, and E and R.

Also, you might want to try removing the slant - it kinda gives it a car dealership kind of feel (motion), especially combined with the wide kerning of 's e r i e s'.
