Ok this one is not a great logo. The fonts used are terrible, but in this one I can see that is a tower from a spanis/portuguese fort.In the version you did I think that no one can understant that. So... you probably have to work on type, and in the location of the symbol, to us understant what the symbol is. (sorry for my english... no time to use google translate)
I dont understand the idea, the "radio waves" of the garita? The symbol its a cliché needs to transform the garita in one more abstract or something. The typography is helvetica its not bad, but you need to put in markers or not to turn round to the symbol. The colors a very hard and annoying to the eye.
ok, this is not a logo, is like hitting a puddle with a stick, literally. If I would to break all the rules in a logo I wouldn't do it so well. So, no gradients , no effects , no distortion on text, erease all, you need a blank brand new start , concept and perspective.
No good. I'd give you a list of what needs working on, but (and I hate to sound like such a brat about it) this all needs to be tossed aside. Nothing works, it's all bad.

In logos, don't use:
- overlaps
- shadows
- gradients
- clipart
- text deformation
- such lazy fonts
Ah. Oh dear.

Start over with something completely different!
