Powerful Joe Rogan

Brief from client
This is a logo I made on my spare time inspired by my favorite podcast host and one of my favorite comedians Joe Rogan.
I think the typography is a fairly light weight concerning the subject matter. Joe Rogan is someone that (to me at least) resembles strength and not putting up with bullshit, and it would be better if the typography reflected that. The mark is accurate and recognizable to his side profile, but I'm not sure what the negative space is doing as it cuts into his neck. It's hard to read and makes it look like he has some weird deformity, especially since it cuts into his chin as well. There's also an uneven amount of space between "powerful" and the top of the side profile, and the bottom of the profile and "joe rogan". Therefore it makes it seem like the profile isn't centered within the badge.

Hope this helps
This looks globally good, but I don't get what's going on with the silhouette's neck. It's like you tried to implement a seal in the negative space.
Also, the two lightning bolt should mirror each other.
I can see where Brenden is coming from. You're using a really subtle and light font for the word "powerful."
The neck is bothersome to me as well.
