Pro Nature

Brief from client
Landscaping Business.
Our focus is in the qualitative transformation / restructuring of private gardens.
Amongst other things:
- Paths, terraces and driveways made of natural stone, concrete block and wood
- Creating of flower beds
- Construction of fences of any kind
- Pond construction
- Tree care and felling
- Garden Care
My main concern that I'd like feedback on (all feedback is always welcome though) is if the abstract leaf conflicts with the leaf cutout in the "O". Is that too much? Too busy? Two conflicting styles? I like the PRO Nature just on its own, but I felt I needed to provide them with a symbol as well. Using the leaf cutout shape as a symbol itself just felt too simple and generic to me.

First, I didn't see a leaf but a drop with some kind of random and somewhat aggressive tidbits inside it.
To make it short, I would get rid of the drop altogether and keep the leaf in the O. I still thought it was a drop too, maybe you could spend a bit more time working on it.
Glad to have you onboard. I like when people who post their logod for the first time take the time to comment on other people's work. It's a rare thing around here =)
I've just had a look at your website, you have some stunning digital painting!
Thanks for the input. I'm still figuring out the navigation on this site and the organization. Did you have a link to your website or portfolio that I could check out?
I like where you're going with this. I also did not see an abstract leaf at all when I first saw this. It seems to have a bunch of live traced scratches not relevant to a leaf at all.
The thick and bold text is always a nice contrast, although it looks like your "O" in "PRO" has been tampered with.
Maybe just try coming up with a new symbol. Try a different route. Close your eyes and jot down some sketches of what you see as a leaf. Sometimes you never know what you'll discover!!
