Simplified logo for an online shopping site for all resources for building.

Ok, you use the SA Flag's colors, but it gets too mixed up with the typography. Simplify the idea of buildings on a shopping cart - then you will get closer. Leave out the drop shadow effect.
You dont need to put the national flag inside the logo... imagine all american brands, or brazilian brands fill with the colors of their national flags...
Nah, the flag is cool it's unique and it makes your logo proudly South African. Maybe overseas the flag is a bad idea but in SA it's what will give your brand cultural style! A lot of the best South African logos have the flag incorporated in the logo. Don't get too confused with everyones opinions, not even my opinion, take out the meat and spit out the bones. Logo design is a tough job because everyone has a different opinion. Try one without the flag and onbe with the flag and see what works best. I think Geracao has a valid opinion as well! So just play around with the logo and you'll come to a conclusion.
It's just too hard to read, colours are horrible, top top it off a drop shadow. There might be a good idea in there somewhere but it needs to be explored a lot more.
Good to see a fellow South African designer here! Youré on the right track with the idea, I just think you can stylise / simplify the trolley symbol more and change the font a bit. The flag in the logo is good! Check out the trolley I've uploaded, it's more like a unit and it's neater. Work on it a bit more, you can do it! Go SA!

Not simplified enough.
Way too messy and barely readable.

Too much going on.
Drop the drop shadow, scrap the flag (it makes the text illegible)...
On second thoughts, scrap all of it and start again.

begins anew
Start again. To many elements = unreadable soup.
