Pulp Bar
Brief from client
My client (Angie Guille) needed a fresh concept for her new bar, an original concept in town, Guadalajara in Mexico, she had only the name: Pulp.
When I feel free to create a new concept for this Bar, I chose to do what I liked most, Pinups-rockabilly-retro style, considered that a bar with real modern pinups girls could be good, the retro style would help to save some money buying second hand props.
So, when I thought about the image concept, the first idea that come to my mind was those old sailors tattoos, the classic love heart and the lace with the girlfriends name on it, i swooped the girlfriend's name for the Bar's name (Pulp)
Keeping it simple only with primary colours and straight black made the logo some impact.

I really like the retro/ pin up style and you used it very well.
I want to see the visual identity with the brand and certainly the ambient of the pub. Congrats for the job, good luck with production.
PS: You can't use the "registred" symbol if it's not done yet.
Thanks a lot for your comments, thanks for the advise about the ®, in this case the loge is already registered.
I like it too. Maybe it would fit better if those flames were smaller, and I think "Pulp" doesn't stands out in black. Try it white or something that would give more contrast.
I love it, thought I feel that it's a bit too slopping for my taste.
There's a kind of 90's vintage feel to it, in a good way.
Good job!
I really like this but I feel the 'pulp' font isn't right. Pick something a bit more from the era to hammer home the retro feel. That marker font you're using feels a bit modern to me.
