I like it. Simple, but it works.
The only suggestion I have is to explore other shades of blue. They're awfully close, but different. Try and push the contrast between them more.
And you probably don't need the subtext. But if you must go with it, I would pick a different color for it.
I agree on the blues being too close together, but I think there needs to be more contrast between the blues and the red. If you look at it it in greyscale I wonder how close they are? They should have enough contrast so people with colorblindness can distinguish them.
Other than that I think this is a good start. The font selection is friendly and inviting but it seems too laid back for its purpose, perhaps. Not a bad choice exactly just not what I would have reached for first. It does go well with the symbol though.
Sorry but this is ont working for me at all. The symbol looks totally random, the fonts don't match each other and the color combination looks kind of dated, at least to me.
