What were you supposed to redesign? The Ray Ban logo? Because that's not what you did there. You just added some superfluous bits on top of it.

i agree with Shawali, all you have done is put the original logo onto the lens of some sunglasses and added a circle in the background. To re design a logo you need to re-design the whole thing not just take the original and put it on some fancy background. A re-design in my opinion should not have the original logo anywhere in it. it should be something NEW!

We need to keep old and bring in the new. dont you know what the real rayban logo looks like?

Yes, yes they do.

If you read their comments they made it perfectly clear they knew what the old logo looked like.

If this was a project that was to use the old logo in a new way, you should have mentioned that in your concept area, not come on later and get upset that people didn't know that.

Honestly, if that is the core concept for a project for school it is a stupid project. What does it teach you? Copyright infringement? Being the same? How to put a perfectly fine logo in a starburst and make it less iconic?

I apologize. any suggestions? I want a good mark.

I would redesign the logo entirely. The current one is simply a script-like font, and doesn't need anything added to it. So if anything, come up with an original logo.
That allows you to get around the trap of stealing an idea and changing it to make it yours, a very bad practice to teach in a design class. I much prefer the idea of rebranding a logo and going in a new direction.
