Positives: The over-all design I like though the USB cord was a distraction at initial glance (though I understand what you're trying to convey).
To consider: Might "reader gr" be a little small in certain situations (when the logo is printed small or when a sign is seen from a distance)?
While keeping the glasses simple which is a great idea, could you add a little more "character" to them, such as more curve over the nose or some variation in the thickness of the lines? For me, they tend to look too simplistic: Two circles dragged out in your software and a near-straight line joining them.
I like the richness of the blue (as opposed to just cyan) but the grey doesn't contrast enough in my opinion. To illustrate, when turned to grayscale, the two colours are all but identical. If you want those two colours, could you add a white area between the blue and grey of the book?
The usb cable is kind of distracting, it doesn't read as a dot. It won't be recognisable as usb, when the logo is displayed small.
Also consider removing the glasses. Having both books and glasses is saying the same thing twice.
