I do prefer a check mark from a black and white version, as it will go nicely with a motion of a leaf. Also, try to connect upper bar of " R " with a leg to eliminate seeing " T ", too. This is a much better looking version.

I see better The "R" and "i" in this version, but "co" I see it in a different style and different thickness to "Ri" if you adjust the thickness of "co" , that is uniform for all sides as "Ri", would be finished .
Good job with the idea!
