rock climb

Simple. This stood out to me, however I use to rock climb. You need to get some more feed back from non-hiking subjects. Looks great!

The custom font packs enough punch on its own. Adding a symbol, let alone a pretty complicated one, is just overkill to me.

Thank you for your comment. Since "Epic Rock" is a budding tshirt/ apparel line, we are using the font logo and incorporating designs for the collection. The core logo will also be on shirts however it will take awhile to be recognizable to be on it's own. We will have summer sports : mountain bikes, kayaking, rock climbing etc and winter sports: snowboarding, skiing, etc. So the two designs I have put up are rough trying best way to keep simple lines to convey the sport. "Salt Life" the Brand is an inspiration if you are familiar with their work. Thanks again, truly appreciate the feedback.....

I would add a version with some type of color, also change the font to something more simple since the logo kind of takes the cake for the whole thing I feel like it would even it out to have a simpler font. But LOVE the idea and the logo looks great. :)

I'm looking to make a logo for my local university climbing club. I'm really unfamiliar with copyright, or things along those lines. Is it possible for me to use the top half/carabiner portion of this, making some small changes? I lvoe the logo, it's perfect. Of course it will not be used, if not.
