Brief from client
Mine and a friend's YouTube gaming channel. Horror imagery and heavy metal will be part of the branding.
This version incorporates the acronym by making the skull more like an emblem. I saw the typeface didn't fit before but I think it really matches the logo with its current placement. The colors have also been changed to make them print safe while still looking nice on screen.

The best part?
If the heavy metal doesn't work out, they can still use this logo for their next business. Selling butt plugs.

EDIT: I see now. I was wondering why Bopota didn't comment on that before.
Clearly what it is obesrva here but I do not like to judge.
I am not like Bopota which is set in such details.
Bopota did get us all on the bent over naked lady train. I just took it further.
You know, in order to avoid that visual, you could make the stem of the apple further inward, and not on the edge like that.
Here's something I came up with...
Kill Switch helped you out with the apple/butt issue, my question is does the bright red and full apple really represent 'Rotten Core' to you? What about more of a skull carved out of the apple or the skull in the core? Same with the colors, as the client, I would say are too bright and happy. The type I would say is too much of the standard go-to for heavy metal, that's not necessarily a bad thing but play with some options. At the risk of looking like I'm hijacking your project attached is a quick visual of my thoughts.

I would suggest to place " RCG " on a skul's upper jawl instead of the three boring vertical lines or even carved them out of an upper jaw - you decide. I like fred illustration here - the only thing that bugs me is a top portion of the apple, it is looking very umbrella to me. Aside from that - I do like colors and idea. Perhaps, a drum stick would be a good choice for a stem, what do you think?
i think the leaves do look like a girl or awaian skull.
and jaw can be more charpened, about the color could be less green may be just
the leaves green. the eyes, letters and nose in black look better for me
