the design looks outdated , both the symbol and the font. The dog face need a modern look, something solid and the font needs more style and personality.
But to respond to the OP's comment, I do think it fails to match the sense of "Rottweiler." When I think of that breed of dog, I imagine dominant, aggressive, bold. Chicago is going one for three here with its boldness. I'm also not too crazy about the line inconsistencies with some of the letters, like the lowercase "r".
Retro fonts have their place, but for a young, charismatic and modern brand such as this, I think it could be revised.
I like the type but I feel that the balance between the type and symbol could be altered a little. Have you tried making one element smaller than the other? I had the same issue in my first logo on this site.
EDIT: Taking out the corner at the bottom of the W should make the type look more solid.
And giving some space to the logo (by making it smaller overall in this context) would help me judge it better without the white box being so obvious.
If that thing above text ment to represent a breed - I quit my job. Sorry, cannot see a Rottweiler or any dog for that matter. I see a Sudaneese girl wearing a head cover in a center of a symbol. Symbol needs rework. Typing could be more bold to go alone with a stocky, solid image of a Rottweiler.
Can anyone else besides me can see a man's face in a triangle with one eye, one eye brow and mustache, nose, mouth with a lower lip, cheekbone in a negative space. Most of the people see a rooster - I see a whole lotta more than that... All you need to do is stare long enough and use your imagination. My point is proven - I see more things than an ordinary in here do. That is not a crime, isn't? That means that I'm very gifted - thank you, God! Amen.

It is an unfortunate combination of sign and text. Unbalanced thickness ratio of lines and elements. I advise you to think more. Here are sites for inspiration

I would really advise against using the old default Macintosh typeface (Chicago).
Is an old default typeface (one I've never noticed being a youngster) that bad? It's not like Myriad Pro, is it?
It's kind of the equivalent of Myriad but for Mac =)
Actually, Mac uses both.

If one special snowflake is able to make obscure imagery out of something, and the majority sees what is intended, It's still a win in my book.
Edit: Apologies to the OP for so much BOPOTA spam....
That was a rooster?
This is what I saw when looking at this logo.
Illuminati confirmed.
LOL
Once you see it - it doesn't go away from your mind.
That face is so Jewish - I can't help it... Want to scream Marc Chagall.
Here is a Rottweiler.
Here is why I posted a photo of a Rottweiler - this one for mean and negative in here - got the message?
We cool right?
No, but then maybe my face is too Jewish.
Seriously man, think before you type, I'm starting to agree that you are just trolling for fun.
try to find a different font, and the symbol as well
