Brief from client
Logo for a Concert Hall with Bar-Bistro... in an old theatre with the historical name 'Royal Irene'. (Irene being a Dutch princess)
Music and Royal theme must be visible... my first idea...

Think you have a really nice idea. The execution lets it down though. The guitar looks messy and rushed and the blending with the crown could be more sophisticated.
Nice work, but as Lee said execution of the symbol has let it down a bit. But thats something you can work on, the idea is sound
I feel you could push the typography a bit more. Your current font choice is making it feel a bit dated. I'd try something a little more modern and cleaner.
One last point, I'm getting 'royal' and 'music' but not 'bistro' or 'bar'. Maybe this isn't an issue, but just be sure you didn't get tunnel vision when you thought of this idea and totally disregard that side of the venue.
Would it be a usable solution to create two similar logo's, one for the music hall, and an other for the bar-bistro.... for example; instead of the guitar a fork?
I agree that 'music hall' and 'bar-bistro' don't belong in the same image... and they are different parts of one big building...
Yea I don't see why not. As long as they are linkable and that your customers can make the connection between the two easily I think the fork would be a great idea. Just make sure your illustration style is identical in the two.
Good idea but needs work. You are almost there.
I've did some work on the 'blending'... changed the font... the guitar is somewhat 'lighter' and 'rounded'... have a look! (Thanks for the feedback!)
Another slight change... neck of the guitar... and center circle...
