The Repertory Theater of Iowa is an ensemble of actors that perform classic stories from literature, re-structured for today’s modern audience.
The logo uses a classic, Victorian color scheme, along with an easy-to-read serif typeface, giving it an elegant feel, while remaining contemporary. The quill pen and ornamental swashes give homage to the classical literature the screenplays are originated from.

I agree with janleah.... everything works beautifully.... good job!
Much better than the other one. the only thing i would have to say against it is that "repertory" positioning makes the other part of the logo feel a little off balance.
