no i think that it work becouse that was the meaning of the logo, fade the person name and surname with his profession, it must be a stylized one, the R represent the front and tho nose with his hole and the s the eye :), yep it dont have a mouth, hair etc etc... but it dont need it to be recognised, dont need to be an profile drawing :), just focus on that, thats the beauty of this logo :) his an fashion photographer and this is one of my favorite logo
