No, sorry. The tree looks too much like clipart, bad clip art. The text is kerned way too tight. The drop shadow just muddies up your design. A lot of people just add a drop shadow out of habit, if it doesn't add dimension or weight try not to fall into the trap of using one. Something to think about in your presentation is the background. When presenting a final to a client you will want to show how the logo works on a variety of colors, but for the initial presentation think about sticking with a white background. This way you will get a much better initial reaction to whether or not your concept will work.

yeah i agree the kerning is way to tight... its not readable to the audience...
