To show we are scouters who provide first aid and medical cover.
The design includes the fleur de lis of the scouts with a single ladder snake around a staff to represent the greek god asclepius

All very appropriate and adequate - an admirable sense of restraint.
You might try something like Gill Sans in place of Arial?
maybe you should look at different line weights. except for that it look pretty fine to me!
