I like the take on this one versus four others. What is a purpose of a white square here? Is it an outlined pouch to store media disc? My suggestion would be to form an " S " from a blue stripe that circles around an eye pupil and then find a way to create an " M " for media. If you do that the right way - you will get yourself a solid logo.

Exactly! Also doubles as a possible logo for an App they are planning.
Thanks!
Taking the S from a blue iris concept to a strange place... too weird?
You'll see the "s" and the "e" pretty quickly. The "m" is much smaller and turned sideways in the pupil.
You wanted something simple, which is good, but came up with something a bit too simplistic.
Forget about the rounded square. It brings nothing and doesn't look anything like a smart phone app icon.
The symbol has something to it that could be viable, but it's a bit too "first idea". The name is "simple eye" so you drew an eye... Maybe you could find something a bit more creative. Globally, this logo looks very stale and poorly though through, as if you didn't do any research and sketching before hand.
