Ooh-la-la look at them curves! =) I think you made some nice improvements, in the title font as well. Cleaner, and more open and airy in the symbol. Nice flow in the title font.
My only beef may be the stroke added to the thread complicates the point where they meet the eye of the needle. I would omit that, it worked better the way you approached it in version 1.
Overall, this is looking quite nice!
Symbol is vey nice!
As for the font, I would go with something simpler.
I create 5 min sketch of what i think. If you like it, I can send you fonts and adjustment which I use.
I think the wings are too complex.... If you can, try making it simpler and it'll flow better.
I agree with the above, the typo is too much and fights with the nice symbol.
