Sick Design logo

Brief from client
I not got a really brief, i just wanna do the logo on the idea of the name.
For branding purposes, I'm not sure if a large logo that reads "sick" conveys good design. I understand what it means, and if "design" was as large as the other letters it would work better, but there's far too much emphasis on "sick." That and the two typefaces don't mesh very well. Try a sans serif if anything.
The "S" in the dot of the "I" doesn't really do anything here. Couple that with resizing issues, and you might as well leave it out entirely.
Colors aren't bad, although the center of your gradient is a bit off.
Good start. I think with a bit of work it will be a nice result.
Two things I don't like: the little S in the dot of the I. It's superfluous, doesn't bring anything and would disappear as soon as you reduce your logo. The subtext doesn't really work. The tracking is too wide, the font is too thin and small overall.
Beside these two points, this is looking pretty good.

Caligraphy font + typewriter font? Bad idea. It looks like a columbian police statement. Typewritted and hand signed. :P
