Brief from client
The client want a logo to show two elements working together (business & charity events).
I really like the idea of the symbol, and for the most part I really like the symbol itself. It seems like it needs just a TOUCH of clean-up around the gray wrist area- like it gets oddly plump in a place that it maybe shouldn't, but perhaps that's just a trick of the eye.
Also, I love the color combination of the gray and green. The only reason I couldn't give the colors a full thumbs up is because I don't think you need the black. That brings us to the little group of "negatives" -
As previously mentioned, I don't think the black is needed. How about changing both 'side's to green, the 'by' to gray and then the subtext to the gray color as well. As it stands now, the black (by being so much darker) kind of pulls focus to 'by'- which I'm guessing isn't what you want.
One other 'neg' that I wanted to mention was the size/placing of the subtext. It bugs me that it's wider than the main text- makes it look kind of sloppy. Could you kern the subtext in/make it a little smaller and then make it the same width as the main text? (And perhaps make the main text all caps (!?!?!) so that the 'y' doesn't dip down into your subtext area?? That would allow you to nudge the subtext up a little bit as well.)
Just some thoughts, I think this has real potential to be awesome!

So much to say on this one! First, the positives:
