Sironas Logo

Brief from client
Client wanted a logo including some abstract features of the goddess Sirona from Celtic mythology.
For some strange reason, the character reminds me of Avatar characters. i'm not feeling the gradient work.I, personally, like the font type. But I think a different direction with the character would be best.
Ok- I think the colors would work- BUT.. please remove the gradients. The font isn't working, or at least the treatment isn't. There is nothing wrong with putting the symbol in the middle.. and you are lucky, the word is symmetrical around that center O. But, right now it isn't, you need to work on that. Don't do that raising of the letters as you go to the ends, it just looks messy. I would make the graphic mark/face much stronger. Use the Starbuck's face as an example. This is the evolution yours needs to go through.
Idea of incorporating goddess graphic in text is fine but this logo is not working yet.
Your type treatment is pretty odd, I can't see why you made gradations in letter sizes but bottom aligned them all. Letters are not properly spaced & kerned and gradients make this look pretty fragile and misty. I don't think investment company is going to settle for this.

I agree with the comments here. Lose the gradients and different-sized letters and I think you'll be onto something solid.
