If a client says that they want to use a light-bulb in their logo you hit them in the face with an apple, a tooth, or a house roof line. Then you walk away and get a new client.
I saw the life preserver immediately...and the @ symbol. Upon looking at it, I recognize the extra curve lines as a wifi symbol. Overall though, I am not wild about this logo. I think it makes people work too hard to guess what it is about.
I'd say you should worry less about a light bulb and worry more about your text treatment and the execution of your lightbulb symbol. If it's memorable enough and cleverly designed, then I'd say you've succeeded.
Yup, I also read "smort" and thought the sumbol looks a bit like the google chrome logo, for some reason. But It certainlyu didn't see nor a light bulb nor a @.
And yes, if a client tells you to use a light bulb, just tell them to back off, you're the creative not them, otherwise they wouldn't be hiring you. And as a creative you should know the light bulb symbolizing an idea is old as fuck.
I read LANDING first and though that the symbol is a UFO :)
If you decide to go with the light bulb, make sure it shows the main characteristics of the symbol: the pear shape and the straight base lines. When you bend them, they suggest motion (like a flying UFO)

Sorry, the idea is confusing. I can't tell whatthe symbol is. And the mix of lowercase and uppercase in these proportions isn't great.

I find a job done in less than 5 minutes.
paper and pen please.
Do not think this is a valid comment.
The morphology of the symbol I like. Lacks explore more fonts.

I see a life saver and I read smort LANDING
If your client is asking for a particular thing, you need to do it in a way that makes you both satisfied.
