Specialized Clinic for Ped. Neurology and Epilepsy
Brief from client
This is a Clinic specialized in Pediatric Neurology and Epilepsy treatment, I was assigned to create a Logo and and stationery for the clinic, ran by Dr. Ashraf Azmy. A website for the clinic is in Process by other colleagues, and Logo will be used their as well.
The Logo is Based on certain pillars:
1- Children
2- Epilepsy
3- Awareness
Epilepsy is one of the diseases that still doesnt have that much awareness on it's nature and how to handle its patients. Epileptic patients (Specially Kids) are liable to a Poor QoL, resulted by Bullying, the need for constant care and their vulnerability.
So, working on a friendly, joyous yet informative tone for the clinic was my aim, Simplicity of design and the multiple usability of the logo was also an aim.

I like the general idea on a symbol. What bugs me is a lightning bolt that divided a brain unit ? Also, I suggest to fine tune a face a bit to look less oriental. Perhaps, by indicating with different colors of the brain centers corresponding to the illnesses - would generate a better outcome of the logo
Rugs are oriental, people are East Asian.
It looks like a child is happy about having his head cut open. I think you missed your mark here. I would revise this a bit more thoroughly.

This would benefit from at least one other colour. If all that text is necessary, make it easier to follow. Should '& Epilepsy' be that big compared to the rest of the text?
