Brief from client
I am focusing on a brand new coffee shop for my marketing class. The focus is to be fun and be more friendly for the environment.
I just wanted to include squares and a coffee cup in the pic art to make my statement clear.

There is way too much going on here. The word "coffee" on the coffee cup in the background looks a bit like a watermark from a stock site. I know it isn't but it is distracting. The white lettering with the white drop shadow against a light pink background is simply hard to read. The odd angles of the squares compared to the words Square Pink doesn't work. Put it all together and I can't find environmentally friendly there, especially with a disposable cup and straw in the picture. Take some time to look at good logos and try to discern what makes them good. Generally speaking, you will find it is simplicity. Keep plugging away and thank you for posting this.

The logo is unreadable and I wonder if the coffee in the background isn't actually watermark.
The font is pretty good, you really need to simplify the whole thing, starting by removing the effects that might cause problems down the line.
