Brief from client
Create an identity for a new Strength Training company.
Two things: the two bars above and below the word-mark are slightly thinner in their middle section. Maybe too slightly. I would increase the contrast with the handles or have the thickness consistent.
I'd also like to see this logo without the texture, in a simple black & white.

Thanks for the feedback! I really appreciate it, I see what you mean by the bars being thinner in the middle, this is intentional as the this is the shape of an Olympic weightlifting bar. However I agree from a design perspective it does look slightly off :/ will try maybe separate the elements of the bar to create contrast and see how that looks?
Cool effing work! I totally dig this texture for a "deluxe" version but it will just as easily translate to a one color design, though it would be nice to see as well. I love the font, symbol, and color!
Yeah man, this is great. The logo and font selection are paired well, the bars work as accent lines and are a subtle but literal tie-in to the company's services. You ought to try a horizontal version as well. There are many situations where a vertical orientation forces you to shrink the logo due to space constraints. Commercial signage, for example.

Anyhow, this a really cool logo, good job.
The bars, Olympic bench bars. ;-)

Cool shape logo!!
But i would like to see it without texture next time. Its makes logo more cheap here... but yes its feels like stone, and i like it!
Nice job!
