Student's career guide

Brief from client 

To design a logo for a new department in the university to help guide students that there are many career paths they could follow after graduation

Tried to use the torch to symbolize guidance.
The text says (student's guidance center) or something like that.

The entire project was canceled by the university, but thought I would share the work for some thoughts.

Hi
Torch can symbolize oil company or Olympic related jobs. It seems like petroleum university,etc.
