I love sujus! Hopefully this is the same local shop in my city. My only concern is that when scaled down it doesn't have the same impact at this larger size. Overall, looks great!
I really like the typography.
I don't think the seal works though.
So if you remove the seal graphic, have a single coffee been enlarged to the width of the two 'U's, above the name, the name would then become the hero, which is what you (and the client) want.
Then do something clever with the bean graphic and you have a winner!
try adding 1 more color to make it more attractive , and that tiny " established in 1992 " might not be visible when the logo is scaled down , also that dotted line on the edges of the shape . but overall i think it's nice
Don't like the type particularly. It looks like an interpretation of the 'future' from the 80's if that makes sense.
The coffee beans look like an afterthought just added in. Although I'm not a negative space / space killer, I don't think the empty space above and below the type is earning its existence.
I quite like the dotted line, but it won't work well scaled down, which goes for the 'established text' as well.
The seal idea is overused and doesn't really relate to coffee IMO. I'd go for a 99% typographic solution as if it's printed on a coffee bean sack or wooden crate, with maybe a coffee bean or coffee cup icon in there somewhere.

I'm not really feeling this logo.
First off, the seal type of circle is way too "tutorial-y" for my test. Also, the dashed line isn't centered. Globally, it's too run-off-the-mill.
They way you play with the font isn't uninteresting, though I'm no fan of that font. Watch out the kerning though, it's way off.
Good luck.
