Logo designed for a tanning studio named Sunset (Attempted to process the letter S into the logo)
Please share your opinion & advice, its greatly appreciated
Client's request for the logo was for it to be simplistic and clear and using warm sun-like colours

I'd like to see a more advanced version of this before passing any judgement.
Right now, it looks the logo for some kind of caramel flavored Pepsi.
I agree with Shawali...it is way too close to the Pepsi logo
I got Pepsi too from this. It certainly needs to be more developed, since it doesn't say much about the company, except the sun shape perhaps.
I get some dangerous Saskatoon vibes from this.
Live trace kind of vibes.
I doubt it was livetraced. The negative space line is far less consistent in the OP's logo than in Saskatoon's logo. It widens up a bit at the top.

Still. This entire logo is a Saskatoon Pepsi induced nightmare and should be scrapped.
I'm going to have to agree with others that say this is eerily similar to a sunburnt pepsi. What if you kept the colors in a circle outline around an actual letter S? Tons of great fonts that might work well...
