Brief from client
No client but a challenge to create a logo for a company that delivers or work with renewable energy or anything else in that "clean" energy category.
Ah that's the best comment I had from you :) Acid green? When I made a JPG the colors became way more brighter then how they were at Illustrator.. Probably because of the spot colors.. But when I made it a PNG the colors looked fine and the green doesn't look acid green here :'
Ok I must admit that my new screen is a bit too bright. I checked it on my secondary screen and it's better. But I'd still make your greens denser, since every screen is different. Nothing beats a dark shade against a bright one.
I agree with Charlie on acid green issue and still laughing on how Charlie explained that effect on his eyeballs, LOL. I see a cool design for soccer ball panels in a symbol, but do like your idea anyway. Font needs to be different for sure.
The symbol looks good. I think the colours are too bright.
Would you consider experimenting with different fonts? This font is kind of plain compared to the icon.
I agree with charlie. I am sorry to see a very nice symbol with particular lines and style but with such an absent font. Also about the colors, turn the hue for something less stinging , we will have to use our eyes for other stuff too.
I think your idea is good but the execution is lacking. The symbol is too big in relation to the type and the elements within the symbol need to be more spread out. It's a great start but needs some work and a few different variations.

This looks not too bad, but the acid green on a white background is piercing my eyeballs with a thousand knives =)
