Swim Sweets

Brief from client

Design Brief - ' We need the perfect ass.. as a logo.. '

For a website, something like... 'Rate my swimsuit'

Time to choose some colours. I've let my client know of BOTW, and were hear to gather some feedback on the colour schemes on these. Be great to your preferences?

Very nice design overall! Love the colors of this one as well. Perhaps my favorite one is the first revision in terms of color but the design of this one is more modern and more legible.

However a glaring issue is still there: The hips confuse me to be blunt with you, mainly because my eye can't wrap around the fact that its supposed to be letters and not a buttocks with shading on it.

The "E's" that make up the butt looks a little vague - In short I hardly can make out the letters, which is probably due to the second "e" being broken if you will.. Notice that little gap showing under the right cheek with the heart tatt portion? That area is where my eye focuses first when I look at it, I think it's because it's trying to figure out whether it's a letter or a body part.

You may be better off using a bra and the strings from it to form the letters, or make the um... derriere less obvious. The g-string could also be whats throwing me off in thinking that they're letters, since it breaks the overall flow of the text. This is not to mention how the two "e's" are sharp in lining and taper - which contrasts the round fat lines of the rest of your font and results in some clashing.

Keep at it though, I really want to see this worked up!

P.S. Bring back the droplets?!?!? Like seriously, they looked AMAZING with the first logo you made and would still look gorgeous here, why'd you take it out?! What the heck?! Mad face! >:C

Hey Gigafrost, Thanks for your time going over this!
I've attached an image of where I got to with making the ee's more legible, but it has been through the clients request to respect the derrière, and sacrifice the ee's for its cause.

Also, I really liked them too and added a nice touch, I've re-added the lil droplets. Will need to spend some more time noodling with these though. Thought you may like to see.

No problem :D YAY Awesome revisions! I also think the drops add a more femininity to it, more motion, and more fun, they look great! :D

The second row I think reads WAY better as "sweets" and flows better with your text, especially on smaller sizes. I like also how you kept the upper waist thin which was a nice touch :) Kind of wondering though why you left out the droplets in that one, add them in! haha.

Nonetheless it really depends on you, if you want it to look more stylish you may have to leave the "e"'s thin but for legibility you may want to keep them fat. I like it fat though personally! Be sure to take others opinion on this as well :D

Can't wait to see how this goes!
